Chicago - September 19, 2000 - The American Lung Association of Metropolitan Chicago recently honored Shorenstein Realty Services with its 2000 Corporate Service Award. Shorenstein Realty Services, which manages John Hancock Center on behalf of Shorenstein Company, was honored for their participation in the 3rd annual "Hustle Up the Hancock" fundraiser, which attracted a record 2,550 climbers.
Participants climbed 1,632 steps to The Hancock Observatory, where they enjoyed the views recently recognized as "Best in the Midwest " by USA Today. Randy Stancik, Director of Marketing for The Hancock Observatory, accepted the award on behalf of Shorenstein Realty Services.
The Hancock Observatory is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to midnight and is located at John Hancock Center, 875 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Admission is $8.75 for adults, $6.75 for seniors ages 62 and up, $6.00 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children 4 and under.
