Shorenstein's 1300 Clay Street Building in Oakland City Center earns BOMA 360 designation in recognition of Excellence in Building Management
OAKLAND, Calif., February 10, 2010 - Shorenstein's 1300 Clay Street in Oakland City Center has earned another honor to add to its 92-point Energy Star rating, with its designation as a BOMA 360 Performance Building by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International. The BOMA 360 Performance Program recognizes commercial properties that demonstrate best practices in building operations and management.
"We are proud to designate 1300 Clay Street as a BOMA 360 Performance Building in recognition of the high standards the management team has achieved in every aspect of building operations and management," said BOMA International Chair James A. Peck, RPA, FMA, senior director of asset services, CB Richard Ellis. "This is a clear indication that the property is being managed to the highest standards of excellence."
Property Manager Diana Hernandez was the driving force behind this designation. "This is a designation that we have worked hard to achieve, for both Shorenstein Realty Services and our 1300 Clay Street tenants," she explains.
The BOMA 360 Performance Program evaluates properties in six major areas: building operations and management; life safety/security/risk management; training and education; energy; environment/sustainability; and tenant relations/community involvement.
