Doug Shorenstein joins S.F.Fed Board

Doug Shorenstein, chairman and CEO of Shorenstein Properties LLC, was appointed
to the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
Shorenstein will share his perspective on economic conditions of his industry
and the Fed's twelfth district, which consists of nine western states, including
Alaska and Hawaii.
Shorenstein
Properties is one of the nation's oldest real estate organizations, owning
and operating office properties across the country. Shorenstein joined
the family business in 1983 and became chairman and CEO in 1995. During
his tenure, the business has expanded from a San Francisco focus to a
national real estate investment company.
Shorenstein received a bachelor's of arts degree from the University of California,
Berkeley. He is also a graduate of UC's Hastings College of the Law. |
