Robert S. Underhill Managing Director, Capital Transactions Group Head Bob Underhill joined Shorenstein in 2002. He is responsible for managing all activities of the company’s Capital Transactions Group and overseeing all of the company’s capital transactions activities nationwide. His responsibilities include establishing underwriting and transactional policies, practices and standards, and managing the company’s relationship with major brokerage companies. Mr. Underhill is a full member of the Urban Land Institute, and a member of The Real Estate Roundtable’s Real Estate Capital Policy Advisory Committee. Professional Experience Prior to joining Shorenstein, Mr. Underhill was a principal at Lazard Freres Real Estate Investors where he was part of a management team that was brought in to manage and restructure investments in their fund portfolios. Prior to Lazard Freres, Mr. Underhill worked for over 17 years in real estate investment and operations with LaSalle Partners and Security Capital Group. Education Mr. Underhill graduated from Colby College with a B.A., and from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University with an M.B.A.
