Mark Portner joined Shorenstein in 1999. He is responsible for sourcing,
evaluating, negotiating, and closing capital transactions in the Eastern United
States, with particular focus on Washington, D.C., New York, and South Florida.
Mr. Portner is a member of The Real Estate Group in Washington, DC.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Shorenstein, Mr. Portner was with the Carey Winston Company
in Washington, D.C. where he specialized in the disposition of distressed loans.
Education
Mr. Portner graduated from University of Richmond with a B.S., and from Columbia
University with an M.B.A.
